Road Safety Rally
On January 17th, 2023, a “Road Safety Awareness Rally” was conducted in Dahej as part of the 34th Road Safety Week Celebration, under the National Road Safety Campaign’s motto, “Sadak Suraksha, Jeevan Raksha” (Road Safety, Life Protection). Organized by Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd (GACL) in collaboration with Dahej Eco-Friendly Society, Dahej Industries Association, and Rotary Club of Dahej, the rally aimed to enhance public awareness about road safety practices.
The event, held from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM, commenced at Dahej College and concluded at Dahej Chowkdi. Participants displayed safety slogans and posters created by the GACL team, emphasizing crucial road safety messages. Road Safety Books were also distributed to drivers and onlookers to further educate them on safe driving habits.
Prior to the rally’s start, GACL generously provided food packets to the students of Dahej College. Additionally, Pragna Pharma Pvt. Ltd. contributed ball pens to the students, demonstrating a collective effort to engage and educate the youth. The rally successfully conveyed the importance of adhering to road safety rules, fostering a safer environment for all. The collaborative initiative underscored the community’s commitment to preventing road accidents and promoting responsible road usage.
