Cyclones

As Cyclone Biparjoy loomed, the Dahej Eco-Friendly Society swiftly activated its emergency control room, a crucial hub for coordinating disaster response. Three dedicated helplines were established, ensuring seamless communication during the crisis. The society’s proactive measures included the mobilization of well-equipped response teams, a fleet of vehicles, and essential equipment, all poised for immediate deployment.
Recognizing the severity of the situation, comprehensive cyclone advisories were disseminated to all stakeholders. Crucially, member industries situated within the high-risk Dahej coastal area received regular, timely updates, enabling them to stay abreast of the cyclone’s trajectory and potential impact.
This strategic communication ensured that industries were adequately prepared for potential evacuations and subsequent disaster relief efforts. The society’s focus on preparedness aimed to minimize damage and safeguard lives, demonstrating a commitment to proactive risk management in the face of a significant natural threat. The coordinated effort underscored the importance of community preparedness and efficient communication in mitigating the effects of severe weather events.
