NABL Accreditation Awareness Session

An awareness session on NABL Accreditation was successfully conducted for the Dahej Industrial area on August 2, 2024. This collaborative initiative by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), Dahej Eco-Friendly Society (DMC-Dahej), and Dahej Industries Association (DIA) aimed to educate local industries and laboratories about the benefits and processes of NABL accreditation.
The session, held at the DMC-Dahej Conference Hall, commenced with a welcome address and inaugural remarks. Dr. Bhumi Rajyaguru, Deputy Director of the NABL-Quality Council of India (QCI) Ahmedabad Regional Office, led the informative session. Key topics covered included an overview of NABL and the accreditation process, guidance on application procedures through the NABL portal, navigating the NABL website, the Recognition Scheme for Temporary Site Laboratories Testing Aggregates and Concrete in Building Projects, and the Medical Entry Level Testing Labs Program.
The session fostered active participation, with attendees engaging in a productive question and answer session. This allowed participants to clarify their doubts and gain a deeper understanding of the accreditation requirements and procedures. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the collaborative efforts and the valuable insights shared. The initiative is expected to significantly contribute to raising awareness and promoting quality standards within the Dahej industrial region.
