Awareness Session Fire NOC

Following a recent fire incident in Gujarat, demand for Fire No Objection Certificates (NOCs) has surged, creating confusion among industrial units in Dahej. To address this, the Dahej Eco-Friendly Society’s Disaster Management Center, in collaboration with the Dahej Industries Association, organized an informative session clarifying Fire NOC requirements.
The session featured Mr. L. K. Dungrani, retired Deputy Director of Industrial Safety & Health, as the speaker. Mr. Dungrani provided comprehensive insights into the NOC (Fire Safety Certificate), explaining relevant circulars, legal amendments, and terminology within the rules and regulations. He emphasized how industries can comply with these requirements.
The session aimed to alleviate industry concerns by providing clear guidance on the often-complex process of obtaining and maintaining a Fire NOC. Participants gained a better understanding of their obligations and the steps needed to ensure fire safety compliance within their industrial units. The collaborative effort between the Eco-Friendly Society and the Industries Association underscores their commitment to promoting industrial safety in the Dahej region.
